Love: its that simple

Luke 10:27 “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.'”

The word of the day is Love. With love all things can be accomplished. Jesus has asked us to love our God with everything we have, but not with words alone. Action establishes how much we truly love. If our love is empty then are actions wont be far behind. But if we love with everything we have then our actions will prove that. We cant just love someone who loves us like Jesus says in Matthew 5:46 “If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that?” Loving someone who we know loves us back is easy because we know there will be no rejection. Loving someone who might not be fond of us on the other hand can be tough at first but if we continue to love and show that through action we can allow some people to see that we love everyone as our amazing God loves everyone. If we start to truly prove through our actions that no matter who it is we can love them as God loves us then we can start to give glory to God through our actions. People with hate for us that see us hold back no love will continue to wonder why someone they hate can still show so much love. Eventually they will see the work of God through us and be as amazed as we were the first time we realized how much God loves us. Today I want to challenge everyone to not only love the people who love you back but to love the people who don’t love you back and to pray that they feel the love through our actions. If God is our guide then we are on a path of love and love is what will flow through us. In normal daily situations where we used to be stressed and grow anger lets pray, worship, and most of all LOVE.

God bless,
Tyler.

Who needs a savior? I do. Who needs a guide? I do. Who needed to be humbled? I did. Who blessed me with all that? God!

Ephesians 2:8 “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God”

Who am I? I’m someone who was saved by the grace of God, not for who I am or what I have done but because of who God is and what he is doing. Im blessed to come to you today humbly and tell you about my faith. Somedays I wonder why I have been chosen to be filled with the Holy Spirit and then I imagine how amazing our God is and realize how my life has been altered not by myself but by the abounding love God has for all of us. I use to walk the same path as a lot of people and that is seeking things to boost my own ego. I would search for anything that would make others think more of me. Today my goal could not be any more different then it was. Today I search for things that can give glory to God through my life because to me that is the ultimate goal. I was taken from the path of sin and death and placed on a path of love and life. Again it was not because of anything I had done but by the grace of God alone. God took someone like me who was the farthest from righteous and set my path straight, although somedays my body wants to veer of the path I am blessed with the Holy Spirit to keep the end goal in my mind. That goal is to bring glory to God in all of my daily activities. How amazing is our God to allow someone who deserves punishment for my sins to change me into a person that can be used to bring him glory. I use to laugh at people who would throw this term “Saved” around about their life. When most people imagine saved they think of something physical but now to me I see what those people mean by being Saved not physically but by the grace of God. Im walking proof of the word saved and to think that I had done nothing but allow Jesus to be the center of my life. Today I wanted you to know a LITTLE about me and ALOT about my savior Jesus. Today I want you to know that I walk in love and those footsteps walk over the place that used to hold hate. My old self would want to take credit for the person I am becoming, but that would be foolish. It is by the grace of our extraordinary God that I can use these fingers I was so blessed with to type this message that you too can be saved.

Unfortunately lately I hear a lot of unbelievers say there is no God, but to them I show them my self. If I was alone in this I would be to weak to change my ways but because of how amazing God is he took me and turned me around and set my sights on Jesus and for that I’m forever grateful. I plan on doing a daily devotional starting today and I thought no better way to start it out than by showing you how I did nothing to get to this point but how our Lord and savior did everything. Im truly amazed at the work of God all around us and in me and can’t help but spread the Good news to all my friends and people that I have not been blessed to meet yet. God bless all of you and I’m truly grateful that you use my blog to see the word of God through the eyes of a changed man.

1 Corinthians 1:5-9 “For in him you have been enriched in every way—with all kinds of speech and with all knowledge— God thus confirming our testimony about Christ among you. Therefore you do not lack any spiritual gift as you eagerly wait for our Lord Jesus Christ to be revealed. He will also keep you firm to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.”

I am weak yet stronger then ever

Philippians 4:6-7
“Never worry about anything. But in every situation let God know what you need in prayers and requests while giving thanks. Then God’s peace, which goes beyond anything we can imagine, will guard your thoughts and emotions through Christ Jesus.”

First of all I like to do start out by doing what the verse talks about and thats giving thanks. I wanna give thanks to the forever loving God that I live for daily, when I think about his love I cant help but feel at peace knowing that with Jesus we will forever be safe and nothing can separate us from his love . Jesus is our weapon against sin and is the greatest weapon we can have because only our God could defeat sin and death through Jesus our savior. We cant just pray when we our in need we should pray more when we are in no need because with Jesus we have all that we need so we can always pray to give thanks. Our Gods forgiveness in its self is something we should be forever thankful for because without that we would be dead with sin and could never feel the Joy of an eternal life with our unequalled God in Heaven. We should live with God in all our decisions and pray for guidance knowing he will never let us down.

When we put our full faith in Jesus as our savior we should not have a worry because we have all we need to defeat sin and temptation. If we fail to strengthen our faith at the roots then on the surface our faith will look weak. Build up your faith in Jesus and you will build up a peace of mind that only the holy spirit can fill you with. When you come to a stressful situation just imagine how Jesus would want you to get past it, pray that you give glory to God in your situation and you will spread hope as you work in the Lords name. Just put into perspective how amazing our God is that even though there are so many people in the world he loves each one and blessed each one with their own talents to use to bring glory to Him. How loving is our God that he sent his own son to save the same people that betrayed him. For this we should be forever grateful. Christ is in all of us and when we recognize that our thoughts are full of love and if love is what you give then love is what you will forever receive from our Savior.

The closer i’ve gotten to the Lord the weaker I realize I am but its truly amazing that because of Him I am stronger than ever. My thoughts are clear and I work everyday to spread hope and love through my actions as I hope that believers and non-believers can see the holy spirit work through me and be encouraged to become closer to their God. The other night I had my closest talk with Jesus i have ever had in prayer I came to the Lord and truly gave thanks for everything I have been blessed with. I’ve never felt more at peace because I knew that no matter what storm that I come to that Jesus will be with me through it all and in the end will rescue me from this body of sin and world of temptation.

Today I pray for everyone to seek the truth and when they find the truth they will see that Jesus saved us and to God we can be forever Grateful. I love all my brothers and sisters in Christ as I know that each one was made to be loved and Live at peace in Christ. Amen

God Bless
Tyler.

Gods will vs our own will

1 John 5:14 “And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us.”

Sometimes when were in a dark place we pray for things that will make us temporarily happy and that just sets us up for another dark place. If we keep an eternal perspective then we can trust God because we know our future is in his hands and because he sent Jesus to save us we are bound for an eternity of happiness in heaven with our savior. To get yourself out of the dark place do not pray for a temporary fix but pray that you see the work that God is doing in your life so that you can do your part in his divine plan. In scripture God has never asked us to live our own plan because that would be putting ourselves above God, but what he has asked us is to live his will and anything we ask “according to his will” shall be given to us. Where our will is weak Gods will is strong and where our will lacks depth Gods will for us is deeper then the ocean and wider then the universe but our human perspective is to weak to even imagine the beauty God has destined for us.
As children of God we must realize that we were not made to live our own plan because we are filled with sin and with sin comes an ending of death but if we allow ourselves to fully live Gods plan then we are on the path of life with an ending of eternity. Now which one sounds better? Who is more trustworthy ourselves or the all-knowing, creator of all, and forever loving God. To me the answer is easy, God has never let anyone down ever so to think he will let us down is foolish. Jesus has promised us that if we believe in him then Gods will for us is everlasting “For this is the will of God, that every one who sees the Son and believes in him should have eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.(John 6:40)”
The will we have for ourselves is one that only has to do with this life, but the will God has for us is one that extends into heaven to live forever in a place where you will forever be safe. How great of a promise has Jesus made us that when we put our full faith in Him that we can live forever without worry because we know that Gods plan for us is a part of his great story of redemption.
An important part of Gods will is to live a Christ driven life one filled with love and forgiveness as God has loved and forgave us. Allow yourself to go to God humbly and ask that he allows you to see that your feet are on his path and that your steps direct you towards him. When you recognize Gods will for us then you recognize that doing the right thing is not only good but it is the way of wisdom.”For it is God’s will that by doing right you should put to silence the ignorance of foolish men.(1 Peter 2:15)”
Just as Jesus and his followers were looked down upon by the foolish so too will we as believers, but if we recognize Gods will for us then we see that persecution comes at us as a test of faith and we are all part of Gods plan for ultimate redemption. In any situation you may face keep the faith in our savior cemented in not only your heart but your soul and allow the gracious hand of God to keep you on the path he has predestined for us.

God bless and remember that faith as a word is weak but as an action and cemented thought faith in God can conquer your life and set you up for your eternal life with our creator.
