Love: its that simple

Luke 10:27 “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.'”

The word of the day is Love. With love all things can be accomplished. Jesus has asked us to love our God with everything we have, but not with words alone. Action establishes how much we truly love. If our love is empty then are actions wont be far behind. But if we love with everything we have then our actions will prove that. We cant just love someone who loves us like Jesus says in Matthew 5:46 “If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that?” Loving someone who we know loves us back is easy because we know there will be no rejection. Loving someone who might not be fond of us on the other hand can be tough at first but if we continue to love and show that through action we can allow some people to see that we love everyone as our amazing God loves everyone. If we start to truly prove through our actions that no matter who it is we can love them as God loves us then we can start to give glory to God through our actions. People with hate for us that see us hold back no love will continue to wonder why someone they hate can still show so much love. Eventually they will see the work of God through us and be as amazed as we were the first time we realized how much God loves us. Today I want to challenge everyone to not only love the people who love you back but to love the people who don’t love you back and to pray that they feel the love through our actions. If God is our guide then we are on a path of love and love is what will flow through us. In normal daily situations where we used to be stressed and grow anger lets pray, worship, and most of all LOVE.

God bless,

  1. There’s a song sung in the round based on the bible verse you open with:
Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and all your soul, and all your mind, and love all mankind as you would love yourself and we’ve got Christian lives to live, we’ve got Jesus’ love to give, we’ve got nothing to hide because in love we abide.

Used to sing it years ago in peer ministry. Gets stuck in my head every time I read that verse! Not a bad thing to be thinking of, though, huh?

  2. Tyler, Thank You for stopping by my blog and liking my post. May God Bless you as you desire to point others to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ!!! Thanks for the follow.

  4. Hi Tyler. I wanted to thank you for following my blog. When I saw your profile, I really wanted to write you to let you know how impressed I am by your love for God, and your vision for young people. While God has used, and continues to use the people of my generation to do a work for him, He is most definitely using young people in an unprecedented fashion. This is why there is such an attack against them – because this generation of young people, I believe, will be instrumental in winning many to Jesus, and ushering in his return. I don’t know what God has specifically spoken to you, but I truly believe that you will be mightily used in this endeavor – to create an army of young people who love God, who are confident in who they are in Christ, and who are empowered and equipped to change the world. May you truly be encouraged to go after everything that God has shown you. You will accomplish great things for God.

    • Im very grateful for your words and blessed to meet you. I agree and hope that young people can truly see how blessed we really are. Thank you again and God bless.

  7. Love, what the world needs now is love-you are so correct and it is that unconditional, no string attach love that is needed. Seeing people by the spirit and not by the flesh will allow the love of God to be express from us and through us in our action and deeds. Thanks for stopping by my blog-I enjoy as you spreading the gospel-be blessed-SCD

  8. This was an awesome post!! When we show love towards those that hate us or have wronged us, they think to themselves, “What is different about that person?” Then when they ask us, we tell them it is through the blood of christ that we can love them and that God loves them too!!

  9. One of the lessons l have learned is that loving those who have hurt us and praying for them is the fasted way to get healed from the wounds. Thank you for that wonderful message
